How it works
Booklet printing needs pages in an order that looks wrong flat and right once folded: on the outermost sheet, the last page sits beside the first. This works out that order for you and lays two pages on each side of every sheet. Because a folded booklet is always a multiple of four pages, blanks are added if needed and you are told how many.
