How it works
Each sheet is divided into a grid and the pages are scaled to fit, in reading order across then down. It halves or quarters the paper a long document needs, and makes a compact handout for reference rather than reading.

- Will the text still be readable?
- At 2 or 4 per sheet, usually yes. At 16 it is a reference sheet rather than something to read.
- Does the page order change?
- No. Pages fill left to right, then top to bottom.
