Overlay a PDF

Lay one PDF over another — a letterhead, a template or a form.

How it works

The pages of the second document are drawn over the first, at whatever opacity and scale you choose. The usual use is applying a letterhead or a printed form to content that was produced without it. By default the first overlay page repeats across the whole document; turn that off to pair the two files page by page.

Questions

Which document ends up on top?
The second one. Swap the order if you want the other way round.
Can I overlay page for page?
Yes. Turn off the repeat option and the two files are paired in order.
What if the sizes differ?
The overlay is centred. Normalize the sizes first for an exact fit.
