Flip PDF Pages

Flipping mirrors the page content. It exists for correcting scans that came out reversed — a transparency fed the wrong way up, a document photographed in a mirror — and for those it is exactly right. On an ordinary page it makes the text read backwards, which is worth saying because it is not what most people expect the word to mean.

Is this the same as rotating?

No. Rotating turns the page; flipping mirrors it, which reverses text.

When would I want this?

Almost always for a scan that came out mirrored.

Can I flip only some pages?

Yes, using a page range.
