Add a Note to a PDF
Attach a sticky note comment that readers can open and reply to.

How it works
A real PDF comment, not a drawn box: readers show it as a sticky note, and it can be opened, replied to and deleted like any other comment. Because it is a comment rather than page content, it will not print by default — which is what you want for a query to a colleague, and not what you want for something that must appear on paper.

Questions
- Will it print?
- Usually not. Comments are separate from the page. Use Add Text if it must appear on paper.
- Can the reader reply?
- Yes, in any reader that supports commenting.
- Is my name stored?
- Only if you enter one, and then it travels with the file.
